One of the requirements to become a Police Officer is passing the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) or Philippine National Police (PNP) Entrance Exam.
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) conducts two (2) sets of police examinations twice a year;
PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATIONS are available exclusively to all skilled uniformed PNP employees who fulfill the minimum rank and eligibility qualification requirements for examination.
PNP ENTRANCE EXAMINATION is open to all aspiring Filipino citizens who meet the qulifications and requirements. A Minimum Qualification Standard for Civilian are:
• Must be Filipino Citizen
• Not more than 30 years of age
• Holder of Bachelor's Degree
Filing and Examination Schedule
The schedule for online applications for PNP Entrance Examination will begin on July 22 until July 26. Please note that the website will be accessible on July 22 at 12NN. The filing period will be announced for non-online applications.

Police Officer 4th Class Exam: July 29 to August 2, 2019
PO 3rd Class, PO 2nd Class & PO 1st Class Exam: August 5 to 9, 2019

Schedule an Appointment
1. Applicants must log on the www.napolcom.gov.ph (NAPOLCOM Official Website) and click on the Online Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) and fill out all the information needed.2. Click the submit after filling out all the information needed. If registration was successful a confirmation will appear. The process should be repeated if unsuccessful.
3. Click the PRINT CONFIRMATION LETTER button flashed on the screen to print his/her confirmation letter.
4. Automatic generated email shall be sent on applicant with confirmed schedule, where they must access the on-link to enter the information required in the application form. The applicant shall submit the completed application form to the Regional Office along with the confirmation period during his / her scheduled appointment date.
Filing for Examination
An applicant should file his/her application on his/her scheduled appointment personally; representative is not allowed at the NAPOLCOM Regional Office where he/she will take the examination together with all the supporting papers needed. Please note that applications will not process if they will received it through the Postal Mail.1. Hardcopy of confirmation letter confirming the scheduled appointment with the relevant reference number.
2. Completed and filled-out NAPOLCOM Form A-1 and Index Card
3. Two (2) updated 1x1 colored ID picture with white background and fullname1
4. One (1) legal size window envelope with P18.00 for mailing stamps.
5. Transcript of Scholastic Record with Special Order issued by CHED and Diploma from CHED-accredited schools, state universities and colleges.
6. Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate
*PO1 with temporary appointment, a certified true copy of Attested Appointment, Plantilla Appointment or Special Order.
Fees Collected
Examination Fee: P400.00No other fees shall be collected.
Attire and Things to Bring During Examination
• Applicant is required a white T-shirt or white polo shirt, black pants and closed shoes. Applicants who do not follow the specified attire will not allowed to enter the examination center.• Notice of Admission
• Pencil must be number 2
• One (1) Valid ID with picture and signature
NOTE: Phone and Calculator is not allowed during exam.
